A round trip from Porthmadog, through gate to the east just after footpath entrance then down footpath to south and back to Porthmadog. | BaggerGutt | 04/12/2023 |
Parked at 52973 37894 back up the road to the gate at 5592 3778 and diagonally up a pasture. | clivevilla | 05/12/2022 |
We went up the footpath from Borth y gest to the summit of the old one, then went through a gate to the mini orchard. Into a sheep field up to summit. It’s nice but another one I’d probably only do for hill bagging. | Skarletk | 13/08/2021 |
Took a similar rout to Sleepwa1ker. Easy through nice woods and up to summit where there's a fire pit and benches. It's the old summit so have to do it again to complete it. | Skarletk | 04/08/2021 |
Accessed from Garreg Wen caravan park but still quite difficult and had to go away form the top on an unmarked path to get up through wood then back along ridge . Great views for a small hill. | Mark Sims | 09/12/2019 |

Repeat as part of a 7.3 km run from South Snowdon Wharf which also included repeat visit to Ynys Hir. Summit had been moved since I was last here so thought it worth another visit. Approached from road to the north, climbing fence and then up across pasture. Returned via the old summit and then down into Borth y Gest. There’s a fence and a load of gorse between the two tops but got through OK. | Herbert Anchovy | 28/10/2018 |
Visited old and new tops from sea front parking. Intended returning over 56m SH, but too much gorse etc. | jonglew | 10/10/2017 |
Pasture summit but to north in gorse is small rock outcrop, could be higher. | Adrian | 14/09/2017 |
Camping just down the road. Evening walk. | Dusty | 28/03/2016 |
Probably the first visitor since the relocation to the higher, western, summit. Nice evening stroll from Borth-y-Gest - access to summit field over gate at SH 5592 3778. Summit is clear of vegetation but no descent to S. | Mark Jackson | 25/08/2015 |

Visited 72m top 27/05/2015. Top to W looks as high so visited it also on the 29/05/2015. | PeteF | 27/05/2015 |
From NW as my old LR124 shows a RoW, but nothing on the ground nor on current mapping. | RHW | 20/04/2015 |
Morning run from Porthmadog. No problems with access, unmapped paths all the way from Borth-y-Gest. Top next to a clump of gorse in pasture grazed by small black sheep. Nice hill with good all round views. Some chap was sleeping in the woods nearby surrounded by hanging baskets and bird feeders. | Herbert Anchovy | 15/02/2015 |
