parked passing place 5284 3764 blackrock sands car park and camping site totally flooded so not much traffic tracks and row just before penrhyn farm over fence stile to top then return south to gate 2.1 ks 22 minsunderhill23/02/2024
Parked on Black Rock Sands. The holiday camp site below the hill is closed for winter, so walked up the road to the Pentrip track, along to a gate south of the summit then easy grass to the summit, avoiding bracken, gorse, barbed wire fences. Retraced steps.Owen B29/12/2023
Bagged on a short detour while hiking the Wales Coast Path between Criccieth and Porthmadog. Took RoW NE above Penrhyn Farm up to a broken stile, then east on RoW to rock outcrop on summit. Return by outward route. Solo. 12.2km, with 100m of ascent.Man of Kernow119/10/2023
Parked at 52973 37894 in wide entrance, up the track to gate and across pasture to the fence gap. Great views.clivevilla05/12/2022
With Rufus, parked at road/track junction to E (lots of gates to avoid blocking) and walked up the ROW to a gate after 100m, through 1 pasture and a gap in the fence to another and the summit. Was quite surprised how busy black rock sands is with cars on the beach, I’ve lived around here for over 7 years and have never been!jacobrichmond03/09/2021
If you drive to black rock sands but carry on along the road instead of getting to the beach. You come to an old looking track on your left; you can park when you get to the gate that says not unauthorised vehicles beyond this point. Down the road on the right is a ROW right next to the farm house, it's hard to miss. It's completely fenced off from the farm house so it's a nice, easy short walk through a field and over another fence to the summit. Another one to tick off the list.Skarletk13/08/2021

Parked on road by closed cafe opposite Black Rock caravan park and walked up road then took bridleway on left to gate and up field- good views of Rhinogs.Mark Sims29/11/2017
Parked at caravan park to S. Walked back up the road then took RoW leading SW. From there a little tricky due to track being inaccessible at SH 5273 3778, so over stock fencing topped stone wall into a pasture, then back over the wall once some elevation gained, thus avoiding dense gorse, bramble etc. HP is a partially grassed over outcrop in pasture.jonglew10/10/2017
Evening saunter from Criccieth along Coastal Path, then unsigned and unclear path, finally over fence and pasture to top. Grand views. Back via beach at low tide.catman31/05/2017
Stroll on the beach at Criccieth and quick summit, Great views out over black rock sands and down to harlech in the distance.Peter_wth02/07/2016
From ENE. Sighting across from NE to SW summit against sea-level/headland backdrop, SW summit (50m co) appears equal height, so visited that too, nice rocky summit. 3rd summit a short way further SW is obviously lower. Few birds despite the name.RHW20/04/2015
Approached along track to the south, hopped over gate and then a short walk over pasture. Ludicrously windy.Herbert Anchovy12/04/2015
