From the parking area to the east, a Eight and half mile route taking in the summit top Scurran of Lochterlandoch, Scurran of Morinish and the Scurran of Well, returning to the car via the ascent route from the distillery and then following the track North East around the base of the mountain.WAYNE ROWLETT01/01/2024
OMC Meet at Smugglers Hostel, Tomintoul. With Clare Andrews, Paul Morris and Gemma Andreae, we parked at the Ben Rinnes distillery near Edinvillie. We followed the track past the distillery ponds, up through the trees and on to the open hillside. We missed the path that breaks off toward the Torrs, so ended up heather bashing to reach Lady's Chair. Then into the mist for the last section up to the summit, we returned the same way, having a good nosey around the torrs on the way back. No real views, but a nice outing, 04:40hrs all in.chillyman819/11/2023
Jackie's first mountain. Got chatting to some of the volunteers who were fixing up the paths and Eric showed me the remains of the crash of a Wellington Bomber which crashed on the northern flank about 200ft below the summit on 14th Nov 1943.w1ght23/10/2023

09.53. Fortunate morning with the weather I slept in the car park last night and it looked like it was going to be dry for the morning at least until mid day and sure enough it was although it was covered in Cloud as I started climbing but it cleared as I got to the summit I'm sitting here in almost still air on the summit. But nippy though. Highest hill of this 7 week vagabond trip and think it's my 97th Corbettvegibagger05/07/2023

A nice stroll from the south side on the track E of Bridge of Tomachlaven past Newton Cottage. Easy, dry track all the way, a good thing too, given that I had forgotten to bring my fell shoes and was wearing daft girlie summer town shoes.Gill209/08/2021

Solo walk. I drove up from Edinburgh via A9, Grantown-on-Spey. Relieved to find a parking spot easily. The track up the hill makes for easy walking a rapid progress. I kept up a steady pace without stops and was on summit within 1h 15min. Several other groups on the hill - mainly young folk and families. I got a good view of tomorrow's target - Corryhabbie Hill.langskill18/07/2021
