Good parking area at the end of the Fourmanhill road and a steady climb on a narrow trod to the summit if the forest edge fence line taken. We returned on an ATV track, which enters the newly felled forest and turns into a timber extraction track.summitter01/10/2023
Parked at Fourman hill house and flattened yes blocking path is very clear. As others along or track and up outside of northern footrest 2 fence line. As soon as clear of forest, cross fence where there's no barbie and head directly upwards to get back on to original track and easier walking up to the summit trig pillar S6899vegibagger24/06/2023
Thankful for AWD to reach the parking area just past Fournanhill Cottage - still boarded up. Route then as nickywood suggests, fallen trees still there.Minto08/12/2022
Minto parked his car just uphill from Fourman Cottage in a small snow-filled turning area. Gate into field then followed fence line most of the way up. Climbed the loose barbed wire fence near some fallen trees. Across rough ground to find track which led to trig. Back same way. With Minto & Mntainman.Dangerous Dave08/12/2022
Yes the trees are still down in the forest so parking at the end of the lane at Fourmanhill , and walking up the North East edge of the forest works, to get you up to the summit track. Don't bother, like we did, testing out the track back into the woods, you just have to retreat if you do, go back the same way and safe face.nickywood112/09/2022
Parked at end of road just past Fourmanhill. Track up through woods still has windblown across it. Followed fence until past trees then turned uphill through heather until found track again. Followed track up to trig.187lenny26/06/2022
Forest track impassable due to storm Arwen. Followed main track to gate then followed fence line to summit.nicolajane22/01/2022

A nice gentle angled jog up from the now boarded up end-of-road house, once occupied by Glen? Good views down on to the deeply incised meanders of the River Deveron -cutting down through the rocks to a relatively ever falling sea level since the last ice age as the land here has been rebounding upwards (now that the weight of ice has gone) at a huge rate of 10cm per 100 years. Hellish link to White Hill followed through thick low forest where my optimistic expectation of a way through ended in sweat, blood and tears. Shin guards, eye protectors and a rich vocabulary needed. Finally emerged way off course -scratched, battered and covered in pine needles leaving behind a me-shaped tunnel through the understory. Fields, gorse, bwf's, plantings, holes and brashings finally to the summit. Useless tracks not going all the way back- so more brashings and holes. Did I mention it began to rain as well. Oh - and this was meant to be a run.Chris Pearson30/10/2020

Regular short walk from home. Parked by cottage 582457sarahk24/06/2020
From Fourmanhill dwelling, NJ582456. Tarmac ends just beyond the property, small parking space. Route starts along the Green Lane towards Redhill, but after 20 metres, a branch heads off L, past a green horse access control sign. Climbs gradually all the way to the top with one R at a fork, about half way up, just as open pasture appears ahead. NB, for car sat nav users, the Fourmanhill-Redhill lane is NOT a through route - locked gates.Isbjorn23/05/2019

Solo trip, excellent track from E almost to summit.Invicta1420/08/2018
Parked just above Fourmanhill cottage, and took the very pleasant track heading up through the woods almost to the top. Lovely views all the way. Looks like Glen from the cottage lies in wait for all the walkers. I am honoured to say that he asked me to post a letter for him. Heard most of his life story too, and that the rent for the cottage is £20/week.Gill14/07/2018
Up via Redhill, down via Cobairdy.Chris Peart20/05/2018
Met Glenn of Fourmanhill Cottage, quite a character. Gave him directions to climb the Buachaille in Glen Coe which he's keen on doing at some point. Followed the track up through the woods on the left, very quick route to topDave McG13/05/2018
P E of summit at road end (got OK to park there from Glen, the resident of Fourmanhill cottage).Pleasant little ACW circuit returning through woods on good track (there is apparently going to be tree felling in the near future). Trig surrounded by gorse but is accessible. A dyke running roughly NS seems to have regions higher than trig base.ger21/04/2018

Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log: Walked up from Redhill farm along the farm track and took a beeline up the hill after the gate, one small barbed wire fence to cross. Looks like someone has half spray painted the flush bracket.thejackrustles11/10/2015
