Then leave track to follow west edge of plantation, then follow fence line on boggy grassy terrain nearly to top. Over south top, short descent , then up south ridge to cairn. Sunny, soft snow. | Walk up from the A82 along usual route. Started out 5:30pm after 450 mile drive. Walk up was very pleasant and dry. Summit ridge between South top and summit was interesting. | Went with Nicky Credland and her collie Skye. Was not as rainy in the morning as expected and the bog was not as bad as expected. Still very boggy. The weather was clag almost all the way up. We decided to kill some time at noon since it was forecast to lift. Increasing winds and walking through clouds until we reach the south summit when all of a sudden and nearly as soon as we reached that first summit, the skies cleared. Wind increased however. | Cycle in from Kenknock Glen Lochay to Allt Challuim then an easy ascent from there after finding my way around the deer fence. Flighty snow from about 800m to the summit.
