| Parked in an A920 lay-by at its junction with the minor road to Kirkton Farm. Up past farm and cemetery onto turbine tracks. At the first Turbine there is a tramped path on its left-hand-side which runs along a fence line towards the summit. Once at the high point of the fence it's a simple matter to hop over and skirt some old slate diggings to the top. | summitter | 28/09/2023 |

| Parked at the layby at NJ650326. Hopped over the road and turn right up the track to Kirkton farm. Straight up past the old church and followed the track all the way to the middle turbine. | Parked at the side of the B992 at NJ6564633289. Walked north along road and then uphill via track shown on 1:25000 map. Found a car parked at NJ6565733771 so that might be a possibility. | Parked in church lay-bay at NJ648326 - not recommended - difficult to exit as vehicles come round corner at speed. Up track, N, to meet trees and zig R at control cabin, then zag L to middle turbine.
