Parked in Strichen High Stree and walked the quiet minor road to Bransburn and Bransfarm. After Bransfarm there is a signposted path across fields and through the gorse to the White Horse, continuing past the horse's head to a thin woodland strip above. Once through this it's a simple sheep field crossing to the summit cairn.summitter01/10/2023
From bend in the road to the N over the fields.sclater04/01/2023
Parked at entrance to Mains of Hatton farm. Along track SW then through open gate, across grass field uphill to locked gate at top. Over gate and out onto open hillside, following fence uphill. Stile at top. Short walk of about 100m to small cairn. Summited at sunset. Back same way. With Mntainman.Dangerous Dave11/12/2022
Parked outside last house on right on hospital brae. Followed road to Bransfarm then up path to white horse up to Hunters Lodge. Then across grass to summit.PeteF17/10/2022

Up from Bransfarm via White Horse. Easy walk. Continued towards the trig on Ormonde Hill which is tantalizingly inside the locked mast compound.sarahk30/05/2020

Parked by quarry gates NJ 9486 5684. Track round N edge quarry onto open hill - lovely sheep pasturecarole engel19/11/2019
From Forest Slack, parking responsibly at NJ 9804 5807. Good forest roads to NJ 9716 5773, then a left turn staying on good forest roads until the forest runs out into heather moorland. Returned via the Mormond trig pillar, picking up a poor fire break at NJ 9809 5728 which returned me to me outward track.jonglew26/10/2019
Puzzled by the presence of a white horse in a chalk free area - turns out to be made from quartzite stones gathered together. There is also a white stag further east. I went up passing real cows and the stone horse to sheep grazed summit - beyond the ruined Hunter's Lodge to which the annual fell race aims for from Strichen. All runners receive a 'fancy piece' (cake) afterwards. The aerial crowded east end of the hill was, between 1961 and 1992, part of the US North Atlantic Radio System - an Early Warning System -scanning the skies for incoming missile. The system ran from Iceland to Fylingdales in Yorkshire.Chris Pearson01/10/2019

Parked, after asking permission, at Forest Slack. Followed the forestry road that leads almost to the flat summit. Descended down to take in the white horse, then back up and over to Mormond Hill to bag the trig pillar.BigJ23/08/2019
From NJ958563, Bransfarm. Signed and waymarked path leads from the derelict looking buildings to the White Horse which, today, looked more like a Grey Mare. Then the waymarkers run out, so off piste up to the ruin and the grassy hump behind (N). Parked at Bransfarm because no sensible parking spot for a route via Newseat.Isbjorn23/05/2019

From verge parking on the bend just below Bransburn. Park on the grass so the tractors have got room to swing round the corner (it would be a shame to get a 6 furrow plough through your windscreen). Along the track to Bransfarm then up the easy and very pleasant signposted path to the White Horse and Hunters Lodge, and over nice grass to the summit. Now marked by a cairn, with all poles lying on the ground. Good views.Gill15/02/2019
Parked at Bransfarm, and followed track via White Horse.mcbboyd20/07/2018

Early morning 40min short walk before work. Parked near Bogensourie, headed up road and track from Newseat to unmarked summit...thankfully clear obvious 3 stakes in ground nearby, but good luck finding in bad weather.N.Morters18/10/2016

Solo. From Strichen. I walked on the road to Bransbog and then on the lane going NNW, which forms a continuation of this road. At a cross-roads I turned right and went along a track past a quarry ENE. The track turned to NNE. At a wood I took a sharp right turn at a track junction and was now going SSE. After a while I came to the start of a wood and struck up the hillside to reach the summit of Waughton Hill. I returned more or less the same way.pwbellarby14/11/2008
