First Marilyn of the day, and one of the easiest hills in Britain, given that you can drive all the way to the masts. It's worth taking a stroll along the cliffs, the views are splendid. | Gill | 18/08/2018 |

Up track from Hillwell and down to Quendale Mill where tea/coffee is available. Even this early in the season, skuas were circling ominously near the summit! | benalder284 | 01/04/2014 |
Dropped by Tom at 361142. Walked to sheepfold & directly up fence to radio station & summit (15:20). Fine; good views down cliffs and over Sumburgh, but not to Fair Isle. Back via clifftop to hairpin on road, then to main road; picked up beyond Ringasta | dbb | 04/09/2013 |

Started from HU366125 and walked up to join cliffs above Siggar Ness, kept with cliffs to the ugly top. If the weather had been better would have completed the round. Just followed faint track by the electricity cables and then went past the red Nissan. | Martin R | 08/05/2012 |

15 times? | Danny Mc Neill | 01/06/2009 |
With Lesley along the lovely deserted Quendale sandy beach from Sumburgh Head, then veered along the cliffs to Cro Geo- where the Braer in 1983 broke up releasing 80,000 ton of light crude oil. This was twice as much as the Exon Valdez spill in Alaska , but here the lighter oil and storm force gales that raged all January helped to break the oil up and reduce the effects, although inland sheep and grass were oil speckled by the windy blown froth.
Got swooped at by a few skuas on the grassy climb to the cliff edge summit. Comedy moment when despite running downhill we just missed our return bus to Lerwick, but a kind local lady car driver picked us up, got us ahead of the bus on the main road whilst it did a loop around the houses, allowing us to get on it further on. | Chris Pearson | 26/05/2009 |
On paved road all the way to top at 11.30. No view - mist. | arranc | 10/08/2003 |
