Easy walk to summit trig point during a lovely day on Skomer island. Loved all the Puffins, Guillemots & Razorbills. Spotted Choughs and Grey seals too! Awesome day :-) | Gerry the Ranger | 16/06/2017 |

Drove down from Preston to catch the 12 noon boat from Martin Haven. Misty initially then a sunny afternoon to explore the island before returning on the 15:30 boat followed by 2 nights camping at West Hook Farm. | Dugswell2 | 22/07/2016 |

10am boat from Martin's Haven, noon return. Plenty of time for the summit hill, trig and the 5 benchmarks we searched for (4 found). Also loads of time for puffin watching, which is a treat. Unable to access The Neck (tump) - out of bounds, even the researchers on island don't go there. | jonglew | 27/07/2014 |
From the boat landing stage to the visitor accommodation at the highest point in the centre of the island | Mariana Trench | 29/06/2008 |
Trig on fine rock outcrop just above old farm which now serves as accommodation for Wildlife Trust staff & volunteers. Boat from Martins Haven, normally sails 3x daily (doesnt land Mondays). Hot sunny day, over 100 people ashore but didnt seem crowded. Great island with fine cliffs although visitors discouraged from straying off paths, mainly to protect Shearwater burrows. Estimated date of ascent. I have climbed this hill a few times on trips to the island | isabelle | 01/06/2003 |
Amazing island. About a billion puffins. Countless other seabirds. Lizards. Can't recommend a visit highly enough (make sure it's in puffin season, April-June). Our daytime trip was so good we also did an evening cruise. | wheresthepath | 01/06/2002 |
