Parked in Bronlyss village by pub. Up track then across sheep pasture to domed field. Return same way. Staying at Brecon Bunkhouse. Sunny clear day. Nice views. | Denise | 06/11/2023 |
From Bronllys, lane then field path with challengingly slippy stiles. Summit gently domed cultivated pasture with fine views of the Black Mountains. Bright sunshine. | RichardM | 06/11/2023 |
Parked just above the start of row. Pleasant path up to field. One bwf to cross and into pasture field. Accosted by three Jack Russells and a bigger dog. Farmer's mother in attendance. Pleasant chat. Great views over to Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. Pleased it was Mintfield and not Minefield Hill. | Campbell Singer | 02/01/2023 |
Pleasant walk up wooded fp into turnip field with sheep having a good munch. Welcomed at summit by four dogs and pleasant farmer's wife. Great viewpoint. | Jemma Singer | 02/01/2023 |
Footpath from Bronllys then field boundaries to pasture summit | Colin Crawford | 12/10/2021 |
Parked in a little residential road just SE of where the fp leaves the road that heads west out of Bronllys. Followed fp then veered right to hp. | clivevilla | 05/03/2021 |
Very dusky as I started up the footpath from the SSE. Space for a small car just below the start of the RoW. The path started off good but became very overgrown so climbed the fence and continued across pasture. Several bwfs to negotiate. The bigger hills in the distance were little more than silhouettes by the time I reached the top. | Herbert Anchovy | 27/07/2019 |
Up from Pont Y Wal lane (Bronllys), over one gate. | Rob Rees | 28/12/2018 |
