Hard to call which is highest. Red deer. That's now Nil by MonMouthshire.Martin R04/03/2024
From Crossways, parked near post box. Up FP through apple orchard and then track which leads up to tower. Knoll to west most definitely higher. My final Monmouthshire top.PeterD28/08/2022
From Crossways, path along upper edge of orchard, apples being harvested their sweat smell heady in the damp evening air. Cross into Towerhill Wood and in darkness pick my way along tracks to the wooded hill top ridge and stone tower. Crossed the W Top but assumed Tower to be at the high point.RichardM04/11/2021
A beautiful walk from Crossways. Used the RoW along the orchard side and then into the wood for both the knoll and tower. This land is owned by Whitehouse Farm who produce lovely cider and stunning blackcurrant coulis. Perhaps you owe them your custom?Rob Rees13/04/2021
From Crossway. Parking very limited. Space next to postbox in the western suburbs. Fp at top of orchard and then into wood. The bump to the east of tower is definitely a few meters higher. My final Monmouthshire Tump. A beautiful and under rated county. Great variety of hills and scenery.Campbell Singer03/02/2019

Parked at entrance to Towerhill Cottage. RoW along N edge of orchard then into woods. Good path to tower, if a bit circuitous. Circular, roofless stone tower at hill top.jonglew02/11/2016
