Abrief escape from the wedding disco at Glansevin hotel,to drive west, south east and. north east up to Mandinam house and farm close to the summit to ask permission to climb up the short grassy slope to their hill summit. Well yes she said with caution, but must warn you that there's a bull on the field along with cows. This was the fourth time in recent weeks off been on a field with a bull and cows. I was cautious but without problems. View from top of surrounding very beautiful late summer evening bills was very pretty indeed. There was also a young black horse who I could see friskily galloping round the other side from the core and bull with glorious exuberant abandon.as I gingerly made my way back close to the fence without looking at ask at the bull, that was fairly close. Once through the gate I tried using to the bull to encourage him to come over and day hello. To no avail. He just emitted some low pitched snorts without moving. Walked up track to farm buildings. Not sure where exactly high point is. Nobody about so wandered to where my map contours indicated top should be.Dusty26/07/2016
