Came over directly across the boggy ground from Coltraiseal Beag. Not too wet. Skirted the Hump to the left on the way back to the road. Solo.Dangerous Dave13/09/2022

From the old bridge, go high as quickly as possible.iangalbraith09/09/2022

From the old road bridge. The start by the river is horrible ground (bogs, tussocks, rough as the proverbial dog's appendage) so start climbing ASAP. Rising traverse gives better going through long grass to the bealach, pick a line up the hill, then you're rewarded for your effort by a short but sweet ridge walk. Fine views but not the nicest going.Gill15/09/2021

From NB139237 near bridge on old road alignment. More or less straight line to top over boggy ground. Returned via same route. Great view point across loch strewn countryside to south east.raffemeister18/04/2017
Parked on old road to NW and easy over Coltraiseal Beag then on to Ben Mothal and back via a few 4wd tracks to the bridge. Desolate but pleasant.Thearlaichdubh20/09/2016

With Mora from the B8011 to the northBLACKHILL02/06/2012
Parked on old road near Loch Raog bridge. Rapid walk on tarmac road to lodge, crossed the bridge and across rough stuff to a stream about 3' wide. Used stones to cross dry shod. Uphill on spongy stuff onto undulating grass and final rise to stony top and a cairn at 13.35. Then due west to another cairn 300m away seemed to be lower.arranc26/06/2010
From the Morsgail track in pouring rain. Pitched tent and kicked the day into touch mid-afternoon.Eddie18/07/2008
