2nd hill of four today from Hay-on-Wye on my rest day from the Offas Dyke path walk. I climbed up to Monks Well Hill and then down to the B-road and then took the footpath into the field but then veered off to the gate to gain the summit which is a patch of Bare earth about 15 metres from the trig point and had Sheep droppings on it. There are some really nice large Oak trees close by about 30 metres away on the flanks. Descended down to minor road further on coming out at road beside the small settlement of Llanigon. | Dazingdale | 18/10/2016 |
