After Old Castle Down, parking on the common by cattle grid. Did a stock fence here to avoid knee-deep mud at field gate, but then needed to hop over stone wall as determined HP was on W side, edge of an arable field. | jonglew | 20/12/2016 |
Parked off the B-road before the cattle grid then up track around woodland to flattish moorland summit of Old Castle Down. Back down to car over road then road and tracks to Beacons Down near reservoir then gate into field to bag high point by wall. Went to both sides of wall for completeness. | Dugswell2 | 20/10/2016 |
