Doable but muddy then overgrown, not quite the pleasant easy stroll I had been hoping for.alda24/03/2024
7 mile run with Pauline .. Waltwood and Wilcrick .. Parked in the Spar carpark in Underwood .. good path up to the dam through woods just before the jct to Bishton Rd .. lovely out and back lanes to Wilcrick .. we had advance permission from Lesley the landowner. Driven passed Wilcrick hundreds of times on M4 .. often wondered and now we know :-)milejunkie29/10/2023

Walked up from the road to the north, via the footpath then up into the wood. Came to see the hillfort but there is little in the way of visible defences. Nice place though.thesweetcheat30/03/2019
A quick end of day climb up the path from the entrance gate to the clearing at the top. Thanks to Lesley, the owner, for permission to visit and to Simon, this site’s webmaster, for putting us in touch.Mariana Trench10/05/2018
