From the station at Bardon Mill - Thorngrafton Common, Housesteads, Hotbank Crag, The Sill for lunch, Winshield Crag, Cawfield Crags, Haltwhistle. Due to a helicopter dropping dumpy bags of stone the section of the wall including Highshield Crags, Steel Rigg and the former Sycamore Gap was closed for the week. A ranger diversion N of Crag Lough was necessary. When the path restoration starts the ranger estimated it would be closed for about 6 weeks. Overcast day with low cloud over Winshield but a welcome bowl of soup at the Sill. With Gillianrichard6914/11/2023
