On a round from the Wooler hostel. Horsdon and Earle Whin first then across to here. On to Fredden Hill, Gains Law (subtump), Harehope Hill (subtump), Humbleton Hill and return through the town centre for a 10 mile round.jonglew23/03/2024
From Wooler Hostel, towards Wooler Common, then path and non-access land to direct route up Humbleton Hill joining path near fort. St Cuthbert's way, then Fredden Hill, bits of ATV track, down along W side of Watch Hill, rough ex forestry lower down to track. Good track over Hart Heugh, short detour to top, then down the track and path to Earlehillhead, return over Kenterdale Hill. Sunny but very windy, fine views all the wayGill23/03/2024
Same round as Jon but going in opposite direction, met Jon Hart heugh.cjo23/03/2024
No 4 from Wooler on very windy but dry day. Some rough terrain but also a few random tracks from no 2. High point is rock outcrop. There’s a huge ancient -feeling cairn on top with wind shelter within. Also solar panel with repeater station.Denise 05/02/2024
Grassy summit with rock outcrop at high point. Large circular stone shelter / cairn on lower ground. Microwave repeater station with solar panel power supply.RichardM05/02/2024
3 of 3 from wooler common CP.robertphillips12/11/2022
After Cold Law, bike from col using a very enjoyable descent to the foot of the hill and then a short climb to the road to its north. Could get a long way up but knackered so walked up from the gate. Broadband relay near summit.fasgadh05/08/2022
Easy from the north where a vehicle track comes from near the high point of the bridleway. Not easy from Careyburn Bridge where mowed avenues through the bracken take you from the right-of-way east of the ancient settlement to above it but leave you with some bracken bashing to get to the top.Alan Moore14/08/2021
With Jo, from Wooler Common cp. Bridleway and tracks to Hart Heugh and Earle Whin. Continued east to fp, through gate, then after a few metres took faint path up to gate at NT 98792 27037 and followed permissive path east side of fence to Horsdon. Returned to gate, (longer, but no fences to climb), and followed paths/tracks back to car park. Weather; sunny, warm, good visibility.amblerbob28/06/2021

From Large car park NT 97700 27400. 7 minor hills in a large circular route.Jhimmy04/06/2019
Large parking area just before Carey Burn Bridge to the SE (alt 157m). Small, signposted footpath starts immediately before the bridge, reaching a waymark after about 1km. Follow the path right as far as the col where an estate track can be picked up. This leads left almost to the summit. 3.36km, 1hr and 201m ascent.moorsman01/08/2017
