Roadside verge parking at a field gate due S (NY 8229 6796). Sheep pasture then stone wall to negotiate near the top. | jonglew | 17/04/2022 |
A very open hill which is visible from all directions. Verge parking on the road to the south although you may need to drive some distance towards the derelict barn/cottage. Through the gate to the south and up to the wall before the summit. There is no way through the wall apart from a smout hole which, with some acrobatics, can be temporarily opened to allow a crawl through. More acrobatics to close it on the way down! | moorsman | 05/02/2022 |
From the road to the S. Room to park in a gateway then across the field. A gate in the wall, adjacent to the quarry just to the E of the HP, saves climbing the wall. | JohnR | 29/08/2021 |
from South, short grass. Memorial to WSW of summit | cjo | 17/03/2019 |
Met daughter of farmer on the summit, friendly , asked me to be careful of the cows as they are calfing. | Adrian | 16/10/2018 |

From S, after work on a very dark night; managed to avoid falling into any holes; summit a short way east of 1:50k spot ht | RHW | 11/03/2016 |
From S in approaching darkness, difficult to maintain a low profile for this one. | Aye Jimmy | 03/02/2016 |
Same route as previous. | Dusty | 06/10/2015 |
This one involves a trespass whichever direction you approach from, so I took the shortest route - direct line from the minor road due south. Highest point is immediately west of a depression in the ground - old quarry or shakehole? | Crib Goch | 03/11/2013 |
