Parking spot on the B6318 not viable today; too muddy and I'd likely have got stuck. Instead I parked half a mile to the west, on a grassy triangle by a minor road, then faced a cutting easterly wind on the way back to the hill. Easy pastureColin Crawford08/01/2024
Parked on the verge to the south. Up the pasture then over the wall at the top.clivevilla10/10/2023

Could just park off B Road at gate to S of top. Having got there it is easy see why the Romans built a camp on this Tump.GordonAdshead27/08/2021

With Jo, walk from Walltown cp: Hadrian’s Wall Path to Walltown Hill, then paths via Lowtown on to open access land to Haltwhistle Common (nearby gate had been removed, so admittance to top which is not on open access land was easy), returning via road from Lowtown. Weather; sunny intervals, cool breeze, good visibility.amblerbob18/08/2014
