Parked Old Town and walked up bridleway and turned off North to climb Shawrigg Hill, then NW down to woodland corner and out to minor road. Head North and use another bridleway to access Talebrigg Hill, easy walk up to summit. Continue over from summit down to minor road to North and almost straight across via gate to access Green Park Hill. Retrace steps from here to the road, down to the West and found easy access to High Fell via a gate in the dip avoiding all walls. Up beside the Windmills over to trig point and summit. Back down via footpaths to East meeting outward route. A nice three hour circular with great views to Howgills and Barbon Hills and further views to Lakes. Nice.nickywood106/04/2019

9th hill of a 14 hr day covering 50 kms linking 24 Tumps on foot. W Darren. Slanted up track from lane to NE to join row then rough grass to summit. Ran down directly SW through rough grass to gate at road for lane south. It would have been quicker to just have come south along the high ground from Green Park Hill.Chris Pearson16/07/2016
From WSW. Reassembled the 3 stones.RHW22/03/2015
Layby to SW at RoW. Good track onto hill and pasture to top.nordicstar01/02/2015
From layby to SW,pleasant little hill with good Pennine views to east.citygent24/09/2014
Large layby to SW of hill next to Public Bridleway to Rigmaden. Broad grassy track, through gate then up to hill. Rounded grassy summit with thistles and single small stone. Nearby Kitmere has boathouse and amazingly dense looking forest of rhododendrons.Aye Jimmy30/08/2014
See High Fell. No information for the nearby Shawrigg Hill & Green Park Hill as they aren't on access land and as such we won't touch um. There are too many private Marilyns and HuMPs without starting on the private Tumps.David Gradwell04/08/2013
