Fantastic sandy beach on the way in.Nice 3 Marilyn walk in the sun after arriving on ferry from Barra before getting bus up to accom near Lochboisdale.davechaffey20/06/2023
Circuit from North Glendale. The start of path shown on map not present on ground, so followed track track running E along coast then SE to climb Beinn Bheag. Joined path running SE then climbed Hairtebreac (all the high points), across to Roineabhal, along ridge to Cruachan and Marabhal, and finally the long pull to Easabhal (summit and 3 cairns of similar height) - lots of rock slabs on this hill. Descent back to North Glendale. Hot and sunny.RobertP14/06/2023

Parked south of gate beside road after second last house. Then up to last house to join a track to a gate & open hillside enroute to Marabhal, then onto Cruachan via the rocky Stump to the west of it. Then out to Hairtebreac a fine Tump with a fine Stump to the ESE via the corridor route. Down and along to Roineabhal [Roneval] in strong sunshine with Dangerous Dave. Back directly to car contouring around the 150 m level to the south of Cruachan,Dugswell204/06/2022
Marabhal, Cruachan, Hairtebreac & Roineabhal from near the road end, South Glen Dale. With Dugswell2. A very hot, sunny day.Dangerous Dave04/06/2022
Parked at Glendale, just before the first house on the left. Looks like an old track but goes nowhere. One of the better hills, a wee challengeiangalbraith10/09/2021

Following Easabhal, car still parked at the mast. Follow coast on sheep tracks past an old comms building judging by the 4in bundles in the floor. Wild summit, gale winds and light rain still clear views.N.Morters03/05/2021
From South Glen Dale.Winterfloodian20/10/2020
There doesn't seem to be any parking close to Glendale; it's either people's house car park or a passing place. Therefore, I parked approx. 782143 slightly west of the start to the mast track. Easily up this track, then nice off-piste walking to Easabhal, good views. All cairns visited. Down towards Loch na Brathad, crossing bogs to S, then along the fence below Marabhal. Contoured up to join the fence heading to the S of Cruachan, later becoming a turf wall. Easy going on faint, firm path. Cut round the side to avoid wasted climbing, rejoining turf wall then across bogs to climb Roineabhal. Nice views but fierce winds and very heavy showers. Back almost the same way then down the road. Note, if there is a coast path, it's probably under water at high tide.Gill12/10/2020
From South Glen Dale to WNW, cross country - could not see any coastal path.ger02/10/2019

Parked in Glendale and started along the coast path as others. Any path was difficult to follow after the bay with a ruined house, and, after a fence, seemed to head into tiresomely dense vegetation. When I slanted up the slope, the going became surprisingly easy. It was still a relief to be able to walk on rock slabs in the final ~30 ft asc.to the summit. Excellent views included the E slopes of the Beinn Mhor group on a very clear day. Return over Cruachan (qv). If pressed for time I'd recommend the Eriskay Ma above this one.pwheeler22/05/2019

Parked by 20’container in South Glen Dale. Along coast & up to Roineabhal, to Cruachan, Marabhal and to Easabhal. Good wx, strong S’ly breeze. With PM.CJM19/05/2018

My last full day after nearly three weeks spent over on the Western Isles. I made the effort to have a good long final walk today, out here and back from Daliburgh visiting a total of seven TuMPs along the way.Alex C01/10/2013
