Easy parking at the church alongside Church Bridge to the west. Walk 100m beyond the bridge and pick up a good track into the paddock. Shouted for anyone inside but no teply so walked through 2 open gates and along the narrow track to the summit, 5 very docile horses expecting to be either fed or ridden. 1.57km return. 30 minutes or less.moorsman09/05/2019
From church car park (NY 0302 0885). Took the non-RoW track through to the end of a long narrow paddock. Unsure where HP was; hopped the fence at the end into another paddock, where the spot height is sited, it's probably in there.jonglew14/07/2018

With RHW from road parking at Chapel to South, FP then green lane to top in field, indistinct.nordicstar04/07/2015
From the SE, large parking area outside Haile Church. F/p partly followed, very overgrown in places (got wicked dose of hayfever) to grassy rise NY 02473 09283 at top corner of field overlooking paddock by large house. Square shuttered building nearby and white house 70m to south. Close to spot height but looked higher.Aye Jimmy27/06/2015
Summitted former mine spoil heap to N which is probably higher than natural highpoint beside large house, but 300m away so not really tickable.RHW17/05/2015
