Walked up road from Castlebay and followed path up from parking spot. The most obvious easy path misses the Our Lady of the Seas statue, which I found by taking the more direct scrambly path back down from the summit through the crags. | prwild | 18/06/2023 |
Round of Barra Marilyns by hired bike on a nice sunny day. Good scramble direct to top, easier than it looked. Spent 1/2 hour looking for bag that I left on way up. Doh! | davechaffey | 18/06/2023 |
Continued clockwise circuit from Borve. Fine ridge overcast and clearing. Dave/Jill | N.Morters | 17/06/2023 |
Borve Horseshoe with Jill & Nigel. | Dangerous Dave | 17/06/2023 |
Parked in the beachside CP close to the Borve road junction. Along the Hebridean Way before heading to the beallach between Grianan and Hartabhal. Up to the latter then lovely ridges to Sheabhal North Top and Heabhal. NW descent over Cadha Mor and Beinn na Moine, then NE to pick up a track that leads down to Borve. | summitter | 13/06/2023 |

Repeat ascent | assynt_bob | 10/08/2018 |
A fine walk using the bus, from Cleit road end, to the high point of the road, and a gully to the summit of Beinn Chliad. SW to the road W of the quarry, then manky soft vegetables to Beinn Bhirisig and Corra-Bheinn. The next bit is superb, down to the bealach, and an easy rake below the crest of the N ridge of Grianan, then on to Hartabhal, Sheabhal N top and Heabhal, from where a very easy path leads past the statue to the road back to Castlebay. A very fine walk, superb views all the way and highly recommended. | Gill | 08/08/2018 |
Repeat | chalky1953 | 08/08/2018 |

From Gleann a path takes off at a gate a little way past the bend in the rapidly deteriorating track and winds its way (with many branches) past the statue to the summit. We descended a largely different set of little paths but on the same general line. | m0jla | 26/04/2018 |
