Parked at 56301 94200 and did a round of Strickley Hill, Over Blease Hill and Lowblease Hill. They had sprayed the pasture with manure so my shoes and trousers smelt all the three hours home.clivevilla10/01/2024
Boo and I on the first of 3 today. We both decided it was easier than Skiddaw last week.Alphaville19924/03/2023

Good, solid, roadside parking on the access apron to Strickley Farm. After 100m or so the path goes through a gap in the hedge and straight up to the summit.moorsman23/09/2022

From small parking area near entrance to Strickley Farm.Quick ascent up non-existent path, then along ridge.catman06/12/2020
1/3 Strickley Hill, then Over Blease Hill and Lowblease Hill. Started from layby beside Strickley farm and walked over footpath to within 50 years of the summit, short detour. Continue on path down to Blease farm complex and detoured South to Low Blease Hill, then back to the path, through the farm complex and along path to get close to Low Blease Hill. No gates to climb at all. Good short walk before the weather warning closed in!nickywood125/10/2019

1st hill of an excellent full 14 hr day covering 50 kms linking 24 Tumps on foot from 8am to 10.30 pm. Dropped off by Joseph and joined after 1 hr by Darren for hill 5 onwards. Instant wet feet in dewy morning long grass -soon dried as sun warmed up. The Thirlmere -Manchester aquaduct skirts the west edge of the hill and one of the stylish brick Victorian syphon wells can be seen (also marked on map).An amazing fact is that the water takes 30 hours to flow the 90 miles from Thirlmere to Manchester entirely by gravity which was a masterpiece of Victorian engineering to supply the cotton mills. Syphon wells which are suitable for long term low water flow rates help the water to'climb' slightly before continuing its downhill journey. Could make an interesting challenge to race the water from start to finish?Chris Pearson16/07/2016

Parked before farm entrance in small lay by. Through gate and direct up Strickley, pasture. Through small gate and down to bridge, skirt Blease Hall properties and direct up ride to Over Blease Hill. Down the ridge over small fences, across rough ground to FP and then up back end of Low Blease. Back direct to FP and out via Blease Hall to road and start point.nordicstar10/02/2015
From layby near entrance to Strickley Farm. Tour of three TuMPs to the south of here. Didn't find connecting the three quite as straightforward as others suggest.Aye Jimmy30/01/2015
