Good parking if you turn north east into Woodside Road alongside the triangle of grass off the main road. Path starts directly across the main road and goes virtually past the summit.moorsman24/09/2022
A re-visit on a lovely sunny lunchtime after a lovely morning teaching at Endmoor Primary School. Wonderful green rolling drumlins for miles backed by the familiar skyline of the Lakeland Peaks & Howgills - all the better in sunshine and cloud shadow. One of Cumbria's risky gunpowder works was based at Endmoor from 1700s to 1950's. River water for the mill to crush the ingredients into gunpower 'cakes', trees for charcoal and a tramway link to the canal and then railway for imports of sulphur and saltpetre from abroad and a ready market for blasting in the Cumbrian quarries.Chris Pearson16/09/2021

From Endmoor climbed Endmoor Hill, Endmoor West Top, along to Canal and up Broken Brow, into Crooklands Inn for lunch, then a wiggly winey path up to St Gregory's Church and St Gregory's Hill - nice winter walk and fine excuse for lunch with Ian.nickywood103/01/2019

Parked at end of bus stop at N end of Endmoor village. RoW passes by the HP which is in a small enclosure of rough ground - half expected to find a ROC monitoring post there. Continued on for the West Top.jonglew26/10/2018

Easy mile along pavement of main road from Crooklands although there is one missing nasty narrow 200m section. (A year later after 50 years of campaigning this missing pavement link has now been built by community fundraising). We were now into the evening of our long 14hr day 50km walk/ jog with Darren and onto the last nicely clustered small drumlin tumps at the end of a long 14 hr walk / jog w Bearded house (Virginia Creeper)by start of fp to small summit overgrown enclosure- reached easily under wire and over small gate - thankfully no nettles to battle to gain top.Chris Pearson16/07/2016
Short walk from Endmoor via footpath running over hill.RobertP21/11/2015
Lay by in village. Over barbed wire gate and direct up hill via gate to summit paddock. Quick.nordicstar01/02/2015
From layby on A65 near village clock. Short steep ascent to 'paddock' on top - said to be a covered reservoir but little sign that it is one. Very strong wind on top.Aye Jimmy15/01/2015
