Logged Descriptions  (logged by 19 users)ByDate of Ascent
11 summited. Alan W stayed in boat having already summited. Great ascent in good company. Used steep line to ENE on a rope then the left hand route from bothy round crags. Couple of ropes fixed for return and summit enjoyed. Northern top Abney levelled by Rick and confirmed as high point by ~5cm. Descended same way some on a rope, final abseil direct into boat.nordicstar18/10/2015
Got out of the boat, struggled up, admired the view, took pictures, struggled down and inelegantly fell backwards into the boat off the end of a rope. Thanks.Martin R18/10/2015
Absolutely elated that I have now scaled the UK's highest sea stack :-) Further details to follow.assynt_bob18/10/2015
Amazing experience, great teamwork.jenx18/10/2015
Less liquid guano this year!Smudge18/10/2015
As described by nordicstar. Awkward getting on, as rocks slippery in places. Once established, same route as on first ascent, which has a couple of scrambly sections, perhaps at grade 2. These have to be reversed on descent, probably with guano on shoes.mae218/10/2015
As described by RHW.mae13/10/2014
11 of us summitted, landed W side SW corner, 15m roped scramble, across nice dry slabs to SE corner then up: 2 other scrambles roped for safety. Great boat handling by Seumas of Seaharris. 1m swell, wind force 3-4 ENE, quite easy but very lucky to get these conditions in Oct. A wonderful viewpoint for the west cliffs of Boreray.Smudge13/10/2014
As Rob but trying to keep up. After landing, make your way to SE corner and scramble up grass and rock keeping left.Eddie13/10/2014
(not ticked) 2 day trip in sub-optimal conditions. Both stacs very slimy, too much swell to land. Report and photo links: https://mega.nz/file/poImTbiA#oFdG1_6F4v1cTA4KjsqEx8heqcVcRqt4KTHUHTxQJVcRHW23/11/2013
