Indistinct summit in rough grass on access land. Parking on grass verge to NW of Town End farm. Weak sun breaking through grey cloud. Onto Harthwaite via gates in walled track, where track turns N.Denise 12/11/2021

From Dufton. Up to Brownber Hill then down NE over wall using convenient boulder then circling around back to the path,before climbing up to Backstone Edge trig and cairn. Followed Backstone Edge towards High Cup Nick then down the Penine way to walk over to Keisley Bank. Down N to a pair of gates giving access to Harthwaite then Penine way to Duftonmart079726/06/2019

Single parking spot immediately before the gate into the field on the north side of the road 200m west of Town Head From here walk east and take the public footpath Keisley House and Town Head. This leads onto the open access from where a route can be found to the summit.moorsman30/09/2015

From lane to SW, f/p leading towards Keisley House then left behind Town Head (High Cup Wines - free wine tasting and geology exhibition!). Track develops and is followed round to back of Keisley and Harthwaite hills and easy access. Had to park some 400m to east.Aye Jimmy03/07/2015
