Followed moorsman's description to the letter, except I ran it. Saw the 'no trespassing' sign which seemed a little out of placemadaddo01/05/2017

If you turn onto the public footpath there is a small parking area immediately to your right. Follow the treeline for a couple of fields and then head diagonally across the next one to the summit. No need to cross the wall as my GPS showed the eastern side to be higher.moorsman05/12/2014
From ESE, RoW then pasture. Rocky knoll W side of wall visited as visibility was v poor but is maybe lower than wall base.RHW29/11/2014
From N end of wood to ENE of hill. Followed f/p along N side of wood to its crest, then across field to high point by wall just N of a trough. Went over wall and electric fence to check a little knoll about 10m from wall but didn't seem any higher.Aye Jimmy09/11/2014

Parked on road by point 269. Ran up FP and veered across to top, passed interesting 'no trespassing sign, don't climb fence' sign. Ran on down the hill to FP and lane and circuit of Penny Hill, as known locally.nordicstar14/01/2014
