Dedicated parking in Alva 100m N of golf club car park (NS885976). PF up the Alva Glen, crossing burn several times, then sticking to zig zags on steep W flank until gate and stile. Through gate, thin path fades out, then zig zag up on grass between bracken, to gully up Wee Torry (not recommended in descent unless you’ve been up this route before), on to Mid Cairn, then Bengengie Hill. ATV tk to Blairdenon Hill and round to Craighorn before col at NN888010, then pathless to col at NN894005 and up to Ben Ever. Up Ben Cleuch, greatly assisted by the wind, on to Andrew Gannel Hill and col at NN928004, up King’s Seat Hill and back to col. FP down E flank of Gannel Burn seems to be falling into disuse. Back along A91 to Alva, to give wind a chance to dry everything outIsbjorn21/09/2023

We followed the path round to Ben Cleuch and then down The Law back to Dan's car. Sunny all day, strong cold northern wind, but great views all round. Could see Culter Fell and Tinto, the Sidlaws, Ben More and many more peaks, 03:50hrs all in.chillyman821/11/2021

With E. From Alva Glen car park up past waterfall with viewpoint then via zig-zags above Silver Glen along track as far as the headwaters of the Glenwinnel Burn at Alva Moss. Path across to Ben Buck then onto Ben Cleuch. Excellent views and a useful view indicator helped identify the whole Ochils range, the Southern Highlands, Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi, Stuc a'Chroin and Ben Vorlich. Returned via Ben Ever and the grassy path down to sheep pens above Silver Glen to track and reverse of outward route. A great walk with bonus of excellent walking weather.Beeliner06/09/2020
