Long time since I've been to Baildon Moor and today it was fabulous. Great escape from the city below. Parked in cp by Baildon Common Trig. Numerous paths round and over Baildon Hill and Trig taking in views in all directions. About 6km.Lynnebe27/03/2024
Crossed Baildon Moor in an icy hailstorm on a windy day with the Central Scouts Moroccan Expedition members, on their 24km training expedition along part of the Rombalds Stride from Guiseley, with 800m ascent, taking our team 6h40m.silverwolf_alan23/03/2024

Popular on a beautiful morning. Why do some dog owners go to the trouble of bagging their dogs excreta and then leave the bag next to the path? Filthy -----s.Campbell Singer08/11/2017
From Car park to North along track to HP and trig.PeterD05/09/2017
From Saltaire via the tramway and Crook Farm. Take the path through the campsite as the one to the west is horrendously overgrown. A nice, popular climb with excellent open views atop - could pick out Back Tor in the Peak District. Went on to do Otley Chevin and Beecroft Hill.Jake99423/07/2017

2nd hill of the day (3rd log) starting in Ilkley, climbing to the Badger Stone then Rombalds Moor, the 12 Apostles, Burley Moor and then continuing before turning South on the edge of Hawksworth Moor passing Reva reservoir, Old Wood Farm, over Gill Beck, onto Sconce lane, over Baildon golf course then track and fp to the summit where about 20 Ramblers were having lunch. I explained what i was upto to some amused and bemused ladies before also having lunch & while eating made sure i stood on embedded stones near the 2 benches. I continued onwards to Idle Hill.Dazingdale04/02/2017

Maybe some of the late 19th C workers from Titus Salt's enlightened Saltaire model village and textile mill down below in Shipley climbed up here to enjoy their encouraged recreation - or maybe they were too busy enjoying the provided education, library , reading room, gym , concert hall, billiard room or even the science laboratory (?). Site is now an UNESCO Heritage site. We took the popular amble from the car park to N. Orienteered on here years ago -criss crossing the hill.Chris Pearson25/07/2016
