The church has a large parking area which, amazingly, was full on a Sunday morning. Managed to park on the verge at the start of the footpath just to the west. Through the space alongside the gate and, as no crops, direct route across the field. No real definable summit.moorsman25/10/2020
Parked at StMichaels RC cp. Into adjacent field.Campbell Singer03/01/2020
66km cycle ride from home to visit 7 of East Durham's esoteric hill tops. Great way to bag hills. Hid the bike in bracken opposite F/P sign. Climbed path south then south east along hedge. High point appears 30m or so into ploughed field. (Mud in the cleats !)John Lee10/10/2017

Parked at RoW to NE, track then hedge line to far corner of cabbage/kale(?) field. High point out in crop field, mostly managed to follow tractor-lines.Aye Jimmy20/12/2014
High point is in field currently under a growing crop. There is a RoW right round the field, which I walked and claim the top on that basis!Crib Goch21/10/2014
