From the church car park. Headed straight over grassy Auchnashelloch Hill, then tedious long grass and occasional heather and peat to the foot of the shoulder leading to the east top. Once on the steeper ground the vegetation improved. Over point 585 then headed more or less straight for the true summit skirting the east summit. Not a very interesting summit but exceptional views on a very clear light north easterly breeze. Clear views to the Isle of Arran, Southern Uplands, Pentlands and all the obvious nearer Highland summits. Returned to the car by way of the east summit and a more easterly line skirting Auchnashelloch Hill.Owen B25/04/2023

From mapped car park by the church (NN 7109 1609). Walked ~560m W along road to field gate, then Am Beanan and Meall Clachach first. On to Uamb Bheag trig pillar and the East Top before heading over to Beinn nan Eun and its asociated D. Top for a 14.6km round. With DS.jonglew06/02/2023

Collecting my final New Donalds on an overcast day with Martin66 & Smithy. Parked at church, through gate opposite & then crossed burn above ruins & straight up tedious grass slope to Beinn nan Eun. Followed small path & then grassy break through hags to Beinn Odhar. Walked on a bearing until top wind turbine appeared in mist & then handrailed fence on a small path, skirting bog at bottom to one side up to trig & then Uamh Bheag, my final New Donald. No view but sun trying to break through. Passed over true E top, down ENE spur crossing Allt Ollach high up & then directly across the boggy bealach on to W bank of Allt Mor to join the outward route. A shorter, boggy but feasible route of return with lots of small animal tracks to help. A long trip from Merrick at age of 14!NotReallyABagger19/11/2022

from Church CP in Glen Artney, along road to end. Didn't like the wet, tussocky path along the river, so went through a gate 100m back up the road to a track over Auchnashelloch Hill and climbed gradually along the side of Am Beannan then SW to the summit. Then did the round as per SMC Guide.IanHHill20/08/2022

With Jan from Dalvorich using track after Easter Brackland then followed wall to Meall Clachach over rough but dry ground. Followed a coupler down and up to Uamh Bheag (ignored trig as bwf forces you into the hags). Returned south then west in the corrie to hit the track.SS16/04/2022
From Glen Artney church, down road, alongside Water of Ruchill, left at fence beside Allt Ollach, through gate, over bridge and then steeply up onto Am Beannan. Continued on good path over surprisingly dry ground to enjoy extensive views from the summit. Carried on round to Beinn nan Euan and down to (closed) church. 10 miles, 2700',5 hours.MichaelF02/04/2022
With David Alexander. Parked (13:25) at Glen Artney Church, walked up road then alongside Water of Ruchill to Allt Ollach. Bridge is above the waterfall where the slope lessens. Steeply up Am Beannan, then surprisingly easy trod path all the way to summit. Return same route except after bridge angled down the moor to the river. Good dry slightly hazy day, views all round. Simple walk up, skirting the boggy areas, from Meall Clachach. Very photogenic summit. Solo.Dangerous Dave05/03/2022
Route to Uamh Bheag from Callander after fresh snowfall, starting at bottom of road leading to Bracklinn Falls. Walked up icy road approx 2.5km and crossed bridge to follow track, gaining height quickly. Left track to climb Tom Dubh, rejoined track for short while before climbing Meall Leathan Dhail. Returned to track to its end then traversed to beallach and climb to Meall Clachach. Along broad ridge to Uamh Bheag and East Top (plus the 2 other high points). Return to Uamh Bheag and more direct descent to rejoin the outward route. Camped at beallach before walking out. Fine bright conditions and fresh snow, drifted in places, made progress relatively slow, and substantial thaw overnight.RobertP25/02/2022

From Glen Artney, steep ascent up Am Beannan. Over to Meall Clachach and onto Uamh Bearg, boggy traverse to Being Odhar. At this point mist was so bad and time was pressing so we bailed Beinn Nan Run. Headed down and north as quickly as possible and ended up following streams back to Glen Artney. A very fraught day.Longwojo14/11/2021
A very pleasant, easy walk from Easter Bracklinn road end. Up to the farm, past Middle Bracklinn, then easy track, nice and grassy once past fields; bizarre number of cattle grids. ATV track continues up Allt Ruighe an Eas, crosses at a makeshift bridge marked by posts and continues below the hill. I left it at a grass topped hag, good, unusual marker for return and hacked up the W face of the hill, which soon becomes pleasant short grass, bits of sandstone scree near the top, joining the fence near the summit, steep and easy.Gill17/10/2021

Uamh Bheag from Glen Artney via Am Beannan and Meall Clachach. On to trig point and east top. Peat hags not as bad as was expecting plus there is a trodden path for a lot of the way. Descent via Corie na Fionnarachd on deer path.Fife Walking26/09/2021

2/2 With Meall na Fearna from Glen Artney. Had planned to go on to Creag na h-Eararuidh but soft snow and no winter boots turned me back – Uamh Beag a consolation prize. Showers (snow and hail), lying snow from about 700m mark. Rounsfell07/05/2021

Parked at Glen Artney Church car park, then walked up Findhu Glen, then ascenting up Beinn nan Eun (no cairn only a wooden post). Over Beinn Odhar then up to Uamh Bheag to see the carved wood face! Descenting via Meall Clachach, I stupidly carried on down the north face of Am Beannan was far too steep for comfort. The peat hags were extensive across the tops. Sunny intervals with a moderate breeze all day.chillyman807/06/2020

The 2nd of 4 on an anticlockwise circuit of the Donalds above Glen Artney. Parked in the church car park at 711461 & up Meall Clachan. From Meall Clachan, followed path to left of fence which bypasses the peat hags in col & heads up to summit next to cairn & fence junction. Continued to Beinn Odhar. (S)gerrybowes20/08/2019

Contnued along fence S from Meall Clachach to UB summit; first phase lunch. Turned E along fence to reach trig pillar and went out N to putative and unmarked top of UB (663.4). Returned ESE to fence and down to peat hags, close to windfarm, struggling NNE through deep hags to head for Beinn Odhar. Weather continued fine with a little more W wind. Second visit, also solo, to UB was on 17/10/2015.First visit22/08/2009, J&MB,as Graham, start N of Callander Golf course.jacobus08/07/2019
