Part of a medley of 7 Tumps near Skipton. A simple walk from the layby to the south of Butter Haw. Gate now kindly positioned in an appropriate place in electric fence, allowing access to the summit. (S)silveracorn_alan27/03/2021

Parking to the south of Butter Haw where the footpath starts. Turn right through a bridle gate after a few metres (sign difficult to spot). Follow this through the fields until south of the summit then head straight up to the top. 1.25km return, 20 minutes.moorsman18/10/2018
1st hill of 6 today on a route from Gargrave to Barrowford using the Pennine way then taking a fp SE veering off to climb to the summit, protected by an electric wire-topped fence; after negotiating this i visited the trig and the nearby memorial in an enclosure with a few trees. Descent to fp to minor lane heading for Acliffe hill.Dazingdale21/10/2017
