No contour shown on the map, but there is a rise to the east of the bridleway that looked higher to me. Visited both just to be sure :) | the_adam | 26/11/2016 |
4th and final hill of the day on a walk from Lindridge road (suburb of Huddersfield) to Slaithwaite station, climbing Fixby Ridge, Old Lindley Moor and Wholestone hill dropping down through permissive path to road and then using fp to traverse Pole hill. I used track to walk the ridge leading to the official summit but there are several points on this track where i got readings of 391m so potentially some alternative summits. On reaching the bridleway i continued on to explore the summit walking alongside wall and as stated about 10 m awah. Descent using tracks and fp's to Slaithwaite. Had to wait 50 minutes for next train due to 'broken down train in the Slaithwaite area'. | Dazingdale | 19/11/2016 |
