After a snowy and grey afternoon, the sun broke through and we quickly bagged this hill from the NNR gate to the SE, as others. Lovely terrain, great little hill and that wonderful light the last hour before sunset. I'd recommend anyone planning a walk in Cressbrook Dale to add this summit to the day's walk. Much more than a mere bag! With brother, Petepwheeler14/03/2023

Parked at the crossroads to the east and up through fields in the snow.clivevilla28/01/2020
Used the access path from good parking. A fine path all the way, no fences or walls to cross and quickly done in 15 mins. Looked at the more direct line but the wall/barbed wire crossing looked heinous. Dont bother. The access line goes up through fine limestone meadows and managed thickets, with Jenx and Bryhernordicstar15/02/2019
A nice route up a great little hill.jenx15/02/2019

Climbed after Longstone moor. I took ... .....a fp to road and the to minor road that runs on lower slopes. Climbed over dry stone wall next o dewpond, headed across field. Climbed over gate and straight up grassy slope to the summit. Sun was setting. This is a lovely looking hill and i am surprised of the few logs. I took the permissive fp down to Hay dalr and followed this back to the monsal trail.Dazingdale28/12/2013
