Part of a medley of 7 Tumps in the Skipton area. For Hawshaw Hill, I parked on the verge opposite the gate into the summit field and walked the 100m or so to the highest bit of pasture. (S) | silveracorn_alan | 27/03/2021 |

5 of 8 on 31.4 mile bike ride including marsden height, Walton’s monument, law hill, sheep hill, hawshaw hill, pinhaw beacon, nutter Cole hill, and colne edge. First one without a trig today quick hop over the wall | The-Z-Man | 26/03/2019 |
Cycled from Silsden via road past Gib, then Lothersdale. Had to walk steepest bit of road. Verge on roadside looks as high as top of field, so consider that done. The hard work was getting there. | IanHHill | 26/01/2018 |
Parking and gate to SW on Hawshaw Road | carole engel | 27/12/2017 |
4th hill of 6 today on a route from Colne to Cononley station climbing Colne Edge, Law Hill and Sheep Hill, descending through woodland to a footbridge over a pretty stream then up a steep slope to join the Pennine Bridleway briefly but keeping NE to join Hawshaw road. I used Southerly gate then walked up indistinct short grassy domed area over summit before returning to road via more Northerly gate. I took next footpath to the North, descending into Lothersdale, continuing on to Pinshaw Beacon... | Dazingdale | 22/10/2017 |

Climbed from Cowling via Pennine Way, minor roads and field paths | robert | 07/02/2016 |
Parked further down road so that I could have at least a little stroll. This hill is more impressive from a distance-not exciting on top. | catman | 02/09/2014 |
Very short walk from gate in lane to E on pleasant pasture. Flat summit, no features apart from a myriad of molehills - is that the correct collective term?! | Aye Jimmy | 19/03/2014 |
Dugswell the Lawman and I opted for the south gate. Exciting choice. | Martin R | 30/08/2013 |
Martin (The TuMPbagger) Richardson wouldn't let me drive passed this field without stopping to enjoy the wide views. | Dugswell2 | 30/08/2013 |
Included in a 10 mile walk in the South Pennines bagging hills that have at least 15m of drop. My parking spot was miles away from this hill so not much use to anybody for a quick bag. I do know there is a choice of two gates in the minor road close by. One directly west and the other directly south of the summit. Only a little stroll from either gate. | David Gradwell | 15/05/2011 |
from Ickornsaw on Pennine Way, dry, overdast, cold winds on top, with Pinhaw Beacon | joseph mitchell | 13/04/2011 |
