Quick Edge from GR: SD 97144 03468. I wasn't intending on parking so close but my car Satnav took me up and over the BOAT, when I saw the covered reservoir I realised I was near the summit.ronaldo33326/07/2020

Parking to the south down Quick Edge Road where it narrows and becomes a track (alt 284m). Taking the first footpath south of the summit leaves you on the wrong side of a barbed wire fence and in full view of the landowner's house window, Better to carry on up the lane for another 75m to a gate and approach from the rear, out of sight. 15 minutes return.moorsman04/03/2020

Walked from Mossley station to Holly bank, then Quick Edge and back to Mossley via the Huddersfield Narrow Canal and Roaches (track of old railway line). Good views from the top, surprisingly few people around as it's quite an urban walkLazylizzie18/02/2017
7th top of 9 today on a 17 mile walk from Marsden to Mossley station climbing Pule Hill, Ox Hey top, Harrop Edge, Delph hill, Badger Edge and Wharmton. Light levels lessening discernibly but dropped down Sw side to intercept fp to reach A469 then took track through suburb (becomes Oldham way nr Grasscroft)to A6050 then fp Sw towards Little Haigh farm but followed edfe of field beforehand to reach road with easy access into field containing summit. Walked around for about 5 mins but did not visit the covered reservoir. Steep descent on fp's to reach road with next hill being Holly Bank. It is now dark...Dazingdale29/10/2016

Narrow lane N out of Mossley Brow until it got rough, parked near Quick Edge Farm. Continued up lane past horse farm at top. Summit is grassy rise just beyond in field. Covered water tank another 150m further on looks slightly lower.Aye Jimmy11/05/2014
