Heading home, decided to bag this. Easy bag, just follow the numerous sign posts to Corse hill from NS 638468 car park 8 to 10 spaces. There's a very short grassy climb to the trig from turbine 104 (I think). About 1hr45min on foot. Probably best to MTB it for under 1hr.Jhimmy29/08/2022
From parking area to E. at 638468, along Spine Road to fingerpost & then a short climb NE up track to trig point. Returned along Spine Road to 610466 & then along northern route (Cleughearn Road) back to car; this passes through more areas of open ground & adds interest.gerrybowes10/08/2022
This access road from eaglesham to carrot , where the public road ends, is now a Clearway . Meaning ther is no legal place to park a car. I asked a local where to tuck car in, as i didnt want to tick any one orfff. He said the clearway restrictions came into place after , and as a consequence of , people blocking the road. Residents could not get in out of their homes. That leagl restriction would have come into play 2021? 2022? After Covid ‘19 ( March 2020). So……ticked car in. With a note on dash board. You will take a left, across previously walked grass in a field. This worn pathway will take you across a stream on a bridge, through a padlocked gate and upwards towards FLS land. There are now signs….interpretation board. Follow wide tracks. There are plenty of FLS finger sijgns including one for this hill. Enjoy.VerySlowPlodder06/05/2022
From the small Whitelee East car park, north of Ardochrig. A busy spot for local dog walkers. Pleasant enough walk along the Spine Road on signposted route. Back on track further north. Solo walk on Good Friday.Dangerous Dave15/04/2022
From Whitelee East CP (or just below as all of East KIlbride were dog walking). Out Spine Road but back on a more southerly track. Dank but a pleasant enough stretch of the legs.SS22/01/2022
Revisit, this time from the east avoiding, as far as possible, the main spine road.lordtonult24/10/2021
Down the NW road to Carrot and along the windfarm track for a mile ignoring the 'No unauthorised vehicles' no entry signs. After blocked gate...Good wide road /tracks to the summit. 215 windmills on this overall windfarm.vegibagger21/10/2021

From Carrot, where parking seems to be more contentious following Covid. No parking on the road and only a couple of spaces off the road. Perplexed that the mapped track goes through a garden and has been blocked; instead you start about 100m N of Carrot Farm where a path goes across a field, then down to the bridge E of the house. Easy after that, lots of signposts. Muddy track up to log stacks then wind farm road to top.Gill13/05/2021
Parked just before Ardochrig car-park and the new double yellow lines as car park was full. Followed the well-signed wind farm access roads. Great views north to Glasgow and Ben Lomond, west to Arran, could make out Ailsa Craig through the turbines.Buck02/05/2021

My 11th and final tump of the day, an evening outing from Ardochrig car park and a 9.38km out and back using the Southern outward route and the Northern return route. The routes converge at NS61034 46617. Sunset wind turbine scene on return route with bats flitting across the track and crows flying to their roost.Dazingdale27/09/2019

County top reached from a pull in area on a bend in the road before you get to Carrot farm north west of top. Walked down rd to a field just before the first house on the left where a path leads around the back of house to the track that heads for Corse hill. The track starts in the drive of first house but is padlocked and so the path in the field should be used to avoid upsetting the locals. Five and a quarter mile in two hours. Once on track signed all the way to the top on wide access roads.WAYNE ROWLETT03/08/2018
Solo. Parked a little north of Carrot. Took well defined path on left about 50m before the first house of Carrot; this joins an old track that winds up through the forest. Higher up rather a lot of wind turbines and tracks. Drizzle and cloud on descent.pwbellarby17/06/2018

A few parking spaces at the forest roadend north of Ardochrig (NS638468), then 25 minutes cycling along a very good track to by the summit. This was actually my second attempt: first time, parked at Carrot, accidentally took the track to Myres Hill and didn't have time to do it right...Pete R26/08/2017
Parked at wind farm gate 200 metre north of Carrot. Took the path on the left which is about 50 metre before house on the left as you walk to Carrot. 90 minutes and just over 5 miles return. Wet but pleasant solo walk.bolton30/05/2017

Second visit with Chris Peart. Parking near Carrot was a little tricky, with the farmer, politely, requesting us to leave the way clear for heavy lorries. Lots of cones are now spread around to discourage careless parking. Fortunately, there is a spot 200m back north, beside a wind farm gate. Otherwise, a boring trudge in drizzle and wind.Colin Crawford20/04/2017
