Excellent grassy track all the way up from NN 3316 3190 (thru' gate over railway bridge) - a little indistinct at first but initially follows streamcarole engel18/06/2023

From Tyndrum, up WHW to bridge over railway, carried on 30mtrs to drumlins and up intermittent faint path up obvious ridge to mine workings. On up easier ground to summit. On return found good miners path zig-zagging all the way down, really not obvious from below!Flatfield11/06/2023
From lay-by on A82, a good slog up steep slope for first of 5 Corbett’s. Low cloud but lifting at top with Ben Lui poking through cloud. Onto Beinn Chaorach.PeterD06/06/2023

Clockwise round of Beinn Odhar, Beinn Chaorach and Cam Chreag, starting in the dark from the Dalrigh car park (just off the A82 partway up between Crianlarich and Tyndrum). Walked the WHW to Tyndrum and onwards over the railway bridge to head up Beinn Odhar. From Beinn Odhar, nearly a 500m drop down into Glen Cumhang, and a ~400m steep pathless re-ascent up Beinn Chaorach. However, after that, a fairly easy going ascent over to Cam Chreag finished the main ascents for the day - down to Glen Clachain and out via the track (initially quite wet). Good wee day out on the Tyndum hills - total time 6h 5min.mproudfoot06/09/2022

From small layby at NN 330317, faint old packhorse path up to site of old mine workings and on to Beinn Odhar. Round ridge to Meall Buidhe then steeply back down to the railway bridge.TRG31806/10/2021

From the layby at the high point of the A82 to the south west. Not so easy to get across the fence from the railway to the hillside. Then very steep but decent ground, mostly fairly short grass.Owen B22/05/2021

With a couple of days at Club’s cottage in Crianlarich and a poor forecast, I nipped up Beinn Odhar (901m) a Corbett above Tyndrum. Starting from a layby on the A82 then joining the west Highland Way to cross the West Highland railway line, followed by +2hrs of a boggy ascent then descent the same way. I completely missed the memorial, but I did come across the mining adit around the 690m level (picture of a cave like feature) and what I assume is the mine shown on the OS map, which I didn’t photograph (this looks more like an old dwelling). As its’ a smaller hill, it was below the clouds so there were some views, particularly south over Tyndrum and north east to Loch Lyon, 2:50hrs all in.chillyman813/11/2020
A superb late Autumn day, with brilliant sunshine, the waning Hallowe'en blue moon and a cloud inversion. Parked in the second layby N of Tyndrum, crossed the railway bridge and followed faint grassy tracks zigzagging up Beinn Odhar's S ridge to the lead mine and on to the summit cairn. Easily down and across a slightly boggy col to Meall Buidhe, then a steep descent by the forestry.Nick Down107/11/2020

From the railway bridge over the Crom Allt then up due east besides the forest then onwards over open ground to Meall Buidhe. Then along the wide ridge to Beinn Odhar, taking in ever more superb views in all directions as we climbed higher. A 30 minute nap on the sunny summit before down the SSW flank back to the car. Will take just over a couple of hours if you miss out the kip.summitter12/06/2020
