Farmer came screeching to a halt. Goml. Explained our hobby but he’s not a happy chap about walkers. We were only at crops edge. He drove off in strop. Suggest stick to the trig in future you are not welcome.nickywood102/06/2023

Easy parking by covered reservoir & pumping station - Headed W. along road for about 75m to a couple of trees & from there SSE along tramlines over stubble to within a few metres of summit.gerrybowes06/09/2022
Luckily there was no crop in the field as it is a fair distance away from the road.clivevilla14/03/2022
Parked at covered resr to N. Bagged trig pillar first after which boots couldn't get any muddier so wandered across the field... wrong, they got a lot muddier!jonglew20/02/2022
Good parking on road to Njimbloomer14/08/2021
Parked in the small layby by the reservoir, tramp in recently cut field like everyone else. Dramatic stormy skies but otherwise bereft of any real views or interest. Much better views were had from the nearby Sir Tatton Sykes monument.Jake99406/08/2021
As others. Nice drive from Sledmere to Rudston- not necessary to get out of the car for the views, just the bag; tramlines and dry soil to top so we didn't damage crop. With Petepwheeler05/06/2021

Parked on roadside by reservoir. As previously noted a somewhat dull hill & only good for confusing passing motorists as you clomp about in the mud.DanMaisieBex04/05/2019

Parked by pumping station with short walk into recently cropped fieldRamblingpaul20/09/2015
As AJ: edge between two crops very muddy. Left home at 11:00 to visit 5x simple tumps. Heavy Sleet on M62 but glorious sun here.GordonAdshead24/02/2015
Convenient parking spot by YWA's Collingwood pumping station and reservoir. Visited trig round back of reservoir first, then out into earthy crop fields on other side of road. Followed edge between two crops (new green shoots) for two hundred metres or so to vague high point. Highly visible, couple of large farm vehicles carrying turnips or whatever passed by on road, must have seen me but didn't stop.Aye Jimmy19/10/2014
Parking alongside the transmitter to the north. Short walk across arable field. Go though when dry or before crops appear. (I got drenched!)moorsman11/05/2014
