Logged Descriptions  (logged by 22 users)ByDate of Ascent
Accessed from minor lane to West, tucking car just off road. Over gate and up grassy ride leading to bank leading to forest track. I followed this and was going to go all the way round but spotted a workman and his van so backtracked and then went through woodland directly to the top. Water tank is not longer there however many of the plastic pipes are scattered over the level summit area. I wandered around the area for a bit. Pleasant woodland. Walked through woodland then dropped back onto forest track to follow my outward route. Afterwards over to Upper Strensham for Brockeridge Common....Dazingdale29/10/2023
Hp indistinct within beech wood with pheasant rearing pens. Aerial lower. Return to Bushley Wood Cricket pitch where parked. Lovely misty day.Denise 24/12/2021
From road to W, easily from road into orcchard, along hedge line and easily into mixed open woodland (Beech and Pines) with leafy understory. Up to levelish wooded summit with abandoned pheasant shelters. High point close to IBC and reservoir service trackRichardM24/12/2021
Parked in road to W. Over gate into orchard, grassy track to wood, then slightly right to a gap in the hedge. Diagonally up left to summit.PGCE25/07/2021
Roadside verge parking (SO 8564 3413). Field gate opposite, through orchard(?), then straight up the bank to the covered reservoir and N along a track for an indeterminate HP.jonglew30/12/2020

From west. 2 gates then up by posts. Lots of pheasants. Ground with water butts seemed HP.PeterD21/08/2016
From west through two gates and diagonally NE up through woodland and loads of pheasants. Pheasant pen on top, open gate, but just as high if not actually a bit higher just outside it by two water butts to the south. Reservoir another 200metres south artificially higher. Gingerly climbed over the gate to walk up on top of it for completeness.vegibagger04/08/2016
Parked at road junction to the E, then fp through Massey farm, turning up track at 862337 and following it to the top. Wide track runs the length of the summit area. Only spotted the 'Private Property - Forthhampton Estate' sign on the way down.milimana10/07/2016
From W. Water tank at S end of pheasant pen; ground at S edge of Severn Trent resr could be as high.RHW14/02/2016
Parked on road to the west. Climbed a gate, crossed some pasture, over a second gate and then ascended steeply through the wood. I entered the pheasant pen easily but then decided the highest point may be just outside, perhaps by the large plastic water tanks. I quite liked this hill although I may have been swayed by the lovely early winter sunshine.Herbert Anchovy13/11/2015
