Logged Descriptions  (logged by 28 users)ByDate of Ascent
Parked by Methodist Chapel to the N and walked up lane in pouring rain. Visited all the roadside high points but all very flat so seemed pointless venturing further. Visibility nil, which was a shame given earlier comments.milimana16/03/2022
Quick stop whilst driving by.PGCE18/12/2021
Crest of Over Old Road, S of junction with Hams lane, but all rather flat. The excellent views, especially of a sunny, frosty and flooded Severn Valley, made this more satisfying than expected.Denise 30/12/2020
Extensive area of level hilltop with roads and scattered houses. LIDAR high point on W side of road at base of garden hedge feels as good as any. Good views of the flooded Severn Valley from N end of summit plateauRichardM30/12/2020
Parked on grass verge in lane to north. Open field and even the hay had been cut to make it as easy as possible.Campbell Singer17/07/2018

Third hill of a cycle assisted round of 3 from Hartpury E.C. Not really a proper hill, compared to the other two.Minto07/04/2018
Topologically a flat walk but quite interesting doing a circular walk round a field for the sake of purity and the along road east to the junction and a hundred metres south to point where road slopes away down and despite its lowly elevation of only 80+ metres it have a surprisingly good view across the Severn plain to Gloucester and more distant Cheltenham and its prominent one skyscraper the Eagle Star building.vegibagger02/04/2016
Short detour in the dark on my way home. The turning from the A road is very small and easy to miss especially as the signpost has taken a knock.Swindon Bagger23/02/2016
Edge of pasture nearest road just inside hedge seems slightly higher to me.RHW21/02/2016
Two minutes from lane. The gate was even flattened making it even easier.clivevilla20/01/2016
From Hartpury village hall, easy access to field but road looks higher.rhalstead25/10/2015
Field, although road is probably same height.PeterD23/05/2015

Easiest hill of the day. Parked on grass verge within 80m of hill top. HP in rectangular pasture, access through old wire stock fence running alongside RoW.jonglew05/02/2015
Highest point possibly in garden of large house but there is a field nextdoor which is a similar height. I went in the field but not the garden! Another one of those flat tops where it doesn't matter a great deal.Herbert Anchovy04/02/2015
