11/20. An unremarkable hill compared to the ones further SE, but nice to be able to stay on ROWs until the last minute. Parked next to Idlicote Hill Lodge; 30 mins round trip.Mark Jackson05/09/2023
Vergeside parking where the Centenary Way leaves Honington, then 4m wide field margins all the way, with even a baggers' hedge gap next to the top. Then S and W on bridleways to make a circuit of it.milimana25/07/2021

2nd Tump of 11 on a 46.3km traverse from Goldicote Bus. park to Banbury, climbing Rough Hill then fp's to Halford, continuing through Idlicote village, past Fox covert and Pumpground coppice before shortcut to high point next to field edge. I also explored high ground in field. As with all these levellish summits, everywhere seemes to look higher due to the optical illusion of looking at the subtle dips. My route has two balloon like loops as i was lured back into the field. However satisfaction and curiosity were sated and I continued on fp South, SE for Castle Hill...Dazingdale01/06/2019
Sun sinking too soon in the west before 7pm at the end of a lovely sunny warm day for March (15 degrees). Clocks yet to move forward this coming weekend. Up from sleepy Idlicote whose parish is too small to justify a parish council and instead have a parish meeting. Old fashioned gypsy caravan with two horses on the quiet grass verge settling in for the night. Hats off to the survey team who spent 3 hours in the flat summit fields to ascertain the highest spot.Chris Pearson27/03/2019
Very flat summit. The field edge to the East seem as high as anywhere.KC21/03/2019
From Honington, joining Centenary Way, returning via Upper St Dennis cottages. A nice walk with good Cotswold edge views and some big field margins (also, earlier today, on Rough Hill). With Pete, sunny and warm day. Barely worth the struggle through undergrowth/crop to claim HP on either hill, rest of the walks was enjoyable.pwheeler24/06/2018
Flat top crop field. Lots of private signs on track up.vegibagger08/04/2018
At field corner- planted fields, easily accessible from RoW. Misty Autumnal day, with Meg, loaned Collie. I have seen more unfriendly notices!!Denise 26/10/2017
By tracks and paths from the N. Levellish arable farmland hill top. High point at corner of field easy to access along wide grassy field margin. And again on 04-01-2017 with Graham Jackson and John Barnard for survey.RichardM26/10/2017
Parked at junction to N by large house, took track past unfriendly signs till it curved R to join various footpaths. SE along one then R at field edge to curve and HP. Returned via another f/p to W of way up.Aye Jimmy07/09/2017
From road junction to Idlicote. Up track from north. Again people seem unwelcome. Rural security issues perhaps? Very flat indeterminate hp.Campbell Singer12/02/2017
