Went to 3 Trigs of Penpole, Shirehampton GC and KingsWeston from Shirehampton potholed CO. Then came up to visit top in woods. The KingsWeston Trig was down a well trodden route which leads to house that Trig overlooks. | PeterD | 27/02/2024 |

On a day of Bristol prehistory. After a visit to Badock's Wood round barrow, walked along the Community Forest Path through the Blaise Castle estate to Henbury hillfort. The area down at Echo's Gate was incredibly slippery with mud. Up to King's Weston hillfort then walked the length of the ridge. Followed the CFP to Clifton hillfort and observatory via the top on Durdham Down. | thesweetcheat | 28/01/2023 |

A pleasant stroll along a grassy ridge with wooded sides from Shirehampton free carpark to the west, including an awkward hunt for the trig. | Denise | 07/04/2019 |
One of those ridges where it always looks convincingly higher some where else, the Abney sors out the deception. Wide grassy ridge flanked with wild scruffy woodland. High point 8m into woods of ivy covered trees and ground on N side of the grassy swathe. | RichardM | 07/04/2019 |

In the last throes of daylight on a dank February evening at 5.30pm. A long jog from Ne along the wide summit grassy avenue along the crest covering all possible high points and beyond .. slippery mud not helpful to a running bag (better underfoot and sheltered on twisty small path in trees). Exchanged grimaces with a sole dog walker. | Chris Pearson | 06/02/2017 |
Parked on road to south east, then strolled along the ridge | Colin Crawford | 14/01/2017 |
