Recommend pipe insulation for new bwb fence (and trees planted in front). Seems mean thing to do, to prevent a handful of visits a year. | Martin R | 30/05/2023 |
Quick hop over from adjoining field/ footpath to bag trig and nearby HP. Excellent Severn views and wintery sunset. Unfriendly signs. | Denise | 06/01/2021 |
Field paths from the NE past the huge ancient oak at Wick Court. Hardly a friendly welcome into the summit field with 'Keep Out' signs along the N fence line. High point unmarked in pasture to SE side of trig. good views. | RichardM | 06/01/2021 |
From Overton, as others. | PGCE | 05/01/2021 |
Footpath from Overton goes directly to enormous oak at crest of ridge. Summit and trig lie in field on other side of bwf with private notices. | Aye Jimmy | 09/06/2019 |

A nice jaunt around the Arlingham horseshore - lots of blackberries everywhere. | eilidh_hikes | 06/09/2018 |
As milimana. Good views of a very low River Severn. Tide out and weeks of drought. | Campbell Singer | 17/07/2018 |
Showery day, walking up from the Ship Inn (and then back via the Severn Way). Apparently the actual summit is not quite by the trig point so we walked around a bit to be sure of a legitimate bag! | AngiLala | 30/07/2017 |
On way to funeral in Bristol of David LEGG aged 100 who completed the Skye Ridge in 1953. | GordonAdshead | 19/06/2017 |
Bagged as YSM612 Overton. This one was the leveller and we are both now on 50 YOSMs for the weekend. Relatively easy stroll to the pillar on the footpath between the two houses, GPSr decided to play up so just had to look about for the pillar which didn't look as if it was on the high point. | thejackrustles | 24/04/2017 |

Parked by farm in Overton and up PROW. Lovely views for such a small hill, makes a nice change from recent forested tumps. | milimana | 12/03/2017 |
From the Severn Way west of Priding, past Wick Court, through the wood and up to the trig point and summit | Mariana Trench | 24/12/2016 |
Simple walk up the PROW from Overton where it is possible to park by the road. | Swindon Bagger | 18/02/2016 |
Freezing fog. Parked on Overton Road. GL2 7JJ. | clivevilla | 20/01/2016 |
Short walk from Overton. | Herbert Anchovy | 26/06/2015 |
From Overton. Summit short distance from trig point. Gives great perspective of how much the Severn meanders. | PeterD | 23/05/2015 |
Parking on Overton Lane, short walk up, mainly on public paths. Lovely small hill with big views over River Severn and N to May Hill. Top seems to be short distance due N of trig pillar. | jonglew | 03/11/2014 |
FP from WNW. Severn estuary. | arranc | 15/11/2011 |
