Climbed from Belstone as part of a circuit with Scarey Tor, Winter Tor & Higher Tor.RVC16/06/2023
Long walk taking in some of the major summits in the NW of Dartmoor. No access issue, thorough soaking of Mike Tuft, Jacob Partington and I over an arduous 25km.hjb6830/03/2023
circular walk taking in Watchet Hill, Tors End, Tors End South, Belstone Tor, Higher Tor, Knattaborough Tor, Winter Tor and Scarey Tor only one of which I can claim on here. Was sat on Knattaborough Tor looking at One Tor, but as I'd set off at 5 pm due to the heatwave I was worried about getting back in time.stagger onward16/07/2022
Lazy day from CP to N of Belstone, FPs all the way up, sat around on the top in the sun for a couple of hours then dropped straight down to E & back along big track, with F.agentmancuso06/07/2022

From Okehampton - Belstone Tor, East Mill Tor, Steeperton Tor, Hound Tor, Hangingstone Hill, Black Hill, Cut Hill, Brown's House Top, Higher White Tor and Longaford Tor. Camped near the top of Longaford Tor before descending to Princetown from where I added South Hessary Tor while waiting for the bus. 41.5km, much of it boggy, tussocky, pathless toil in unrelenting rain and wind. Highlight was getting the tent up, changing into dry clothes and crawling into my sleeping bag.Herbert Anchovy07/08/2021
A circular walk around the NE corner of Dartmoor from South Zeal in a horseshoe around Steeperton Beck returning to Belstone, then back along the quiet road to South Zeal. Peaks visited: Cosdon Hill, Hound Tor, Steeperton Tor and Belstone Tor. Solo.silveracorn_alan31/07/2021

Short solo post-Solstice walk from Okehampton, via Nine Stones, Cullever Steps cairn circle and Winter Tor. Nice walk along the ridge, onto the high points as they came. From here dropped back down to Nine Stones then to Sticklepath.thesweetcheat22/12/2018

From just before the gate onto the moor (SX 6168 9334), room for 4-5 cars. Lovely evening walk up and on to Oke Tor (sadly not on HB) and East Mill Tor, a sub - ah well, they were both lovely hills. A worthwhile 10k round trip.jonglew27/06/2018

From Steeperton Tor. Rejoined the military track, taking it via Oke Tor to the summit. Scrambled over all the possible highest points. Then descended to Belstone. SoloMan of Kernow116/04/2018
Staying in Belstone so did Belstone Tor, East Mill Tor, Hangingstone Hill, Steeperton Tor, Hound Tor and Cosdon Hill. 13.5 miles - just over 5 hours on a lovely November day.clivevilla13/11/2017

An easy fun scramble with L (after lunch with her family) up from Belstone along the spine of this disjointed Stegosaurus tackling all the little rock steps direct. Flook the Pointer lept ahead finding everything 10 times easier than us humans. 'Helped' us up awkward steps by a lick in the face from above. A 2nd ascent for me.Chris Pearson10/07/2017
