Walk up from the road with the family. Warm and cloudy no wind. Lots of flying ants. Good views. Saw Raven Crows and a Linnet. Time was an hour for 2 milesisabelle26/08/2017
We approached over boggy ground from the Stepping Stones ( worth visiting ) to the E and then descended in a moreorless direct pathless line through gorse ( less recommended!) west to Bellever Tor. The summit has three outcropping Tors of which the SE one is highestDenise 13/08/2017

Easy parking at the Bellever Forestry Commission site. From here you can follow a forestry road as far as the edge of the forest then a clear track from there to the summit.moorsman22/08/2014
