Headed S from Great Mis Tor via Black Tor, Down Tor and Cuckoo Rock to make ascent of Sheepstor from the east.matthewdomhof20/07/2020
Quick ascent with MAE from the south. I returned by a slightly longer route to the east, and found a fine marker stone at SX 5700 6823.David Purchase03/10/2019
Solo. Lovely area I had not been to before. I must return to visit the other striking tors all about here.Dangerous Dave06/08/2019
Gentle start to the New Year, family stroll to the summit from nearby Sheepstor villageDavemate01/01/2019
The first hour of my 25 hour 62 miles 100 tor walk / run link. A beautiful warm morning up from the SW via Burrator Reservoir via 3 small tors to start the day off then down north picking out the blockiest bit of the bouldery scattered Nat Tor. Tried to warn Flook the Pointer to take it easy, as a long way to go, but endless looping exploring is his thing. Angled down east next to Rough Tor cutting above a cluster of still sleeping wild campers.Chris Pearson22/07/2018
From minor road due S. Climbers on the SE face. Plenty of bracken and boulders - nasty mix.jonglew24/06/2018

Small pull-ins on the road to the south then a short, brisk amble to the top.moorsman23/08/2014
From WSW, car park, nice path to summit: slabby outcrop above tor. Then a short drive south to visit the eponymous passive station (trig) - a roadside Bolt.RHW12/04/2014
Parked near Norsworthy bridge and walked around Burrator before ascending from the Burratior side. Steeper than it looks!fostersm16/02/2014
Retrospectively logged. Date recorded in a copy of The A to Z of Dartmoor Tors by Terry Bound. In the days long before web site such as this. In most cases only first visits are recorded.Anthony Vosper10/12/2011
Roadside adjacent to bridleway at SX 56571 68887. Ed and I took the bridleway for a short distance to a signpost where we started on the steep ascent of the hill – a tough little ascent to be sure! The path was vague and intermittent and there were lots of boulders and rocks. The steep stuff was soon over however and surprisingly the summit area is quite extensive. The spot height is situated at the far end making for lots of false summits. Due to the mist, I’m fairly sure that without my GPS we would have called the first rocky highpoint the summit and ha’ done with! On the descent we found a much better path and actually jogged most of the way down.David Gradwell09/04/2009
