With Janice and Mary, lovely day from Glen Lyon.Play2End19/07/2020
Damp day trudging around boggy bogs! Terrible views, as in very low visibility, but fun practicing navigating and managed all tops including 2 munros, Meall nan Eun, Meall nam Maigheach, Meall Luaidhe, Meall a'Choire Leith, Meall Corranaich, Sron Dha MhurchaidhNicky C29/06/2020
From small parking space at 582417. I got across rough terrain to the ridge at 592426 and then along an indistinct track. Descended down the ATV running alongside the wall. Solo. Conditions slowly got better!bolton02/11/2019
I picked up a report from someone on Walkhighlands who found a better way up this Corbett. Head down the road towards Glen Lyon for a few hundred yards. Beside a white sign for Meggernie Estate an old stone wall heads up hill (shown on OS 25000 map). This leads almost to the summit and there is a feint Vehicle track alongside. Easy going - less than an hour up.Crib Goch16/09/2019
On my own. Went from Camusvrachan. Tussocky grass and peat hags will be my memory.iansm25/06/2019

From car park next to cairn at pass: Meall nan Maigheach ; Creag nan Eildeag and on return tried to contour east side but did not work out so came back over main top on what was in any case easy ground.dickscroop22/08/2018
On Camusvrachan- Creag nan Eildeag- Meall nam Maigheach- Dubh Chnocan- Balnahanaid- Camusvrachan walk. This makes a good walk of this hill, but the route from Creag nan Eildeag deteriorates the nearer you get to the Corbett; to the cairn at 699 m the walk was pleasant enough but the last mile was dull, ameliorated by dry conditions and relieved by judging the height by looking over to Meall Luaidhe. The last 10 m. height were pleasant underfoot (too many Corbetts like this methinks). Pathless route, though rightly recommended; evidently a well worn baggers path by the wall running up the SSW flanks of this hill. Way down, just S of Carn Creagach and via Glenn Da-Eig, was pleasant.pwheeler30/05/2018
Stargazing weekend with Wooly. Campervan at Lyon dam. Ascent from cairn on Bridge of Balgie road. Tedious ascent through peat hags, tussock and heather. An uninspiring Corbett.John Lee19/11/2017

As I had to cross the tail of this hill coming off Meall a' Choire Leith, made a detour to the summit. This is one of those hills with a top of a similar height which looks deceptively higher!Buteobuteo15/05/2016
From Camusvrachan. The walk up the glen and onto the ridge, the descent direct from the summit to the track, and the track itself are absolutely delightful, with great scenery and easy going. Very enjoyable walking. Which is more than can be said of the bogfest of a ridge up to the summit! Peat hags, tussocks, moss, heather, unrelenting all the way...There aren't even any deer tracks; they have got more sense. The views were pretty good though.Gill03/05/2016
fa, 3 in party - 2 branch off for a munro, cold and clear with a slight breeze on top, 15.3km round from the cp by the former site of the visitor centre, taking in 3 tops - including the corbett. some cars stuck on the track , due to the ice and snow. most of hill clear but some drifts in the bog before the corbett.rum doodle 23/02/2016
Solo with Holly and Lily. WH route from cairn. Trackless moorwalk in windy but dry and improving weather. Great view of Tarmachan ridge from summit.alexmaclennan31/10/2015
Went straight up its fairly steep west side from road going to Bridge of Balgie. Meet a really aggressive ghilli at the summit who was at the start quite antagonistic. However after I had my sandwiches and took a few pics he seemed to calm down but insisted on escorting me from the hill. First time for this. He commented that he had never seen anyone go to the summit via the west side usually come from southern route. I left him to it at the road. Company: Jake the nervous Black Lab.iandesbottes20/10/2015
Found that a rock 50m from cairn is a bit higher than cairn.alda24/08/2015
Second Corbett of the day.Roblex16/04/2015
From small quarry via M nan Eun. Boggy and tussocky. With Tess. Summit by 10.30. Didnt bother with the NW summit. Expect I'll regret that one day.g Grey though mostly dry.niallp04/04/2015
Failed! We tried driving up from Killin on an icy Saturday morning...we knew it might be dodgy. Sure enough, one car had blocked the road. Other cars had then been left in passing places for the day. All a bit chaotic: off round to the other side of Loch Tay for the day.Pete R21/02/2015

From cairn at road highpoint north of Lochan na Lairige, with Meall a'Choire Leith. Good walk. Two summit cairns - went to both in case, but I think the second one (smaller, on top of rocky tor) is the true summit.milngavie_kenny05/01/2013
